1) What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Trampoline Guru (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App on your device, including any embedded content and advertising shown in the App.
We design Trampoline Guru to be local-first: your training data stays on your device unless you choose to export/share it.
2) What data we handle
A. Data stored on your device (not sent to us)
- Tricks, combos, completion dates, training logs, and settings (including optional features like the experimental 3D viewer).
- Files you import into the App (JSON backups) and files you export from the App.
We do not create accounts, run our own servers, or automatically upload/sync your content.
B. Data that may be processed by third parties
- Advertising (may be personalized)
If you enable personalized ads (or consent to them where required), our advertising partner(s) may process device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID), coarse location, app usage context, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. If you do not consent, you may receive non-personalized ads using contextual signals only. - Embedded video (YouTube)
When you play an embedded YouTube video or we load video metadata (e.g., channel name or thumbnail), your device connects to YouTube/Google services. YouTube/Google may process your IP address, device information, and cookie/identifier data according to their own policies. - System services
Platform services (e.g., Google Play, in-app WebView) may process technical data necessary to deliver the App and media.
We do not receive or store these third-party data flows on our servers (we have none). Processing occurs directly between your device and the third party.
3) Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: to provide core App features (local storage and basic functionality).
- Consent: for personalized advertising and for loading third-party media where required by local law (you can withdraw consent at any time in the App or device settings).
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and non-personalized ads (contextual), where permitted.
4) Your choices and controls
- Local data only: All your training data stays on your device unless you export/share it.
- Export: Settings → Export my data creates a JSON backup you can save or share.
- Delete: You can delete individual entries in the App or use Reset/Delete all data (if enabled) to remove local content.
- Ads consent & personalization:
- Use the App’s privacy/ads settings (if provided) to enable/disable personalized ads.
- On Android, you may be able to also reset/limit the Advertising ID and control ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads (exact path may vary by device).

- External media: If you do not wish to connect to YouTube, avoid playing embedded videos. (If you enable a toggle like “Allow external videos,” disabling it will prevent in-app requests to YouTube.)
5) Sharing of data
- We do not sell or share your training data with third parties.
- We integrate third-party ads SDKs and YouTube playback/metadata. Those providers receive limited technical data directly from your device when their features are used, under their own privacy terms.
6) International transfers
Third-party providers (e.g., ad networks, YouTube/Google) may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA. Where applicable, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See their policies for details.
7) Retention
- On-device data: kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Third-party partners: define their own retention periods for data they process (see their policies).
8) Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through third-party services (e.g., YouTube, ads), contact us so we can assist.
9) Your rights (EU/EEA & similar)
You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
Because your core data are stored locally, you can exercise most rights in the App (export/delete). For other requests (e.g., questions about ads or video embeds), contact us at info@hapula.fi and we’ll help or direct you to the relevant partner.
10) Security
Your content is stored locally on your device. Please keep your device secure and consider enabling device encryption/lock screen. When you export data, protect the file and where you store/share it.
11) Third-party information
Relevant third-party services used by the App may include:
- Advertising network(s) providing (personalized or non-personalized) ads.
- YouTube/Google for video playback and metadata.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers. If you change or add providers, we will update this section and our Data Safety disclosures.
12) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App, third-party integrations, or legal requirements. We’ll post the updated version in the App or on our website with a new “Effective date.”
